Training
A chiropractic examination and treatment can only be performed provided sufficient medical and scientific knowledge and experience.
The study, although not yet available in Belgium and the Netherlands, is an internationally recognised, five-year university course abroad.
After obtaining this Master of Science degree, there is an internship year in Belgium (observations of chiropractors, monitoring operations, case discussions, etc.). Only then can one become a member of the Belgian Association of Chiropractors (B.V.C.).
As a member of the B.V.C., the patient can benefit from the health insurance fund and certain private and accident insurance policies (Exon, Total, Electrabel, European Commission, etc.).
